Karishma does London to Brighton

Children at Shree Navchetan My name is Karishma Patel from Harrow, London. I am 26 years old and work in digital marketing. In August 2013, my Nana, Virji Manji Versani, sadly passed away. In his memory, I have decided to take part in the London to Brighton cycle challenge on June 15th 2014. He was a regular donator to Shree Navchetan Andhjan Mandal in Gujarat and it is an honour to be raising money for this school through their partners CAREducation Trust.

I have always dreamt of completing a challenge like this and I feel that this is the perfect reason to push myself to new limits to achieve something for such a great cause.

I will always treasure my childhood memories with my Nana and those precious last few years I had with him. He was the life and soul of all our family gatherings – birthdays, weddings, picnics and all kinds of occasions – laughing and joking with his children and grandchildren and this is where he was the happiest.

Nana and Karishma

He had his first heart attack at the age of 53, and his condition became worse over the next 25 years of his life where he showed an extraordinary ability to fight it until he sadly passed away.

He was a true inspiration to all of his friends and family and has left behind a legacy that will live through us all. Please visit my donation page at www.virginmoneygiving.com/karishma to support me in raising money for a cause that he demonstrated passion and commitment to.

Thank you for your support.
